AEG<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0airsoft guns cannot be silenced by an external suppressor because the loudest sound originates inside the gun in the\u00a0gearbox<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0from the impact of the piston head hitting the cylinder head.
A suppressor with foam padding on an unsilenced gun is merely decorative, a small bandage on massive noise leakage. Silencing your gun is mainly about dampening these impacts inside, and one key solution is a\u00a0quality cylinder head impact pad.<\/strong>\u00a0It is installed on the cylinder head using the\u00a0included 3M adhesive pad<\/strong>\u00a0(or you can use high-viscosity super glue like Loctite 422). It absorbs the piston\u2019s impacts, reducing the shooting noise and protecting internal parts from excessive force.
