The piston head is made of a structural plastic TECAFORM also known as\u00a0POM<\/strong>\u00a0on the CNC machine. Nine holes are drilled on the front side.The air stream flows through these holes during compression thus expanding the O-ring which provides for better sealing of the space between the piston head and the cylinder.<\/p>\n

The centre of the piston head is passed through by the lock nut, which spreads the clamping force over a larger area and therefore prevents breakage of the bolt from the body of the piston head.<\/p>\n

This piston head also incorporates an\u00a0axial ball bearing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
