G608-6 is based on the TM construction and is fully compatible with the components of that company, as well as with most other manufacturers, whose designs are also based on Tokyo Marui. 

The replica, like the real steel, is made mostly of lightweight and durable plastic. The barrel and the RAS rail are made of metal.
