A military t-shirt for camouflage lovers (and fans of a reliable brand). A classic cotton t-shirt with a loose fit. The 6-color Desert or Desert Night Camo panel is a tribute to our brand's military roots. The characteristic shape of the t-shirt evolved from previous underwear (the so-called union suit) at the beginning of the 20th century. After World War II, T-shaped cotton t-shirts became extremely popular, partly thanks to Marlon Brando and James Dean, who wore them on the big screen. Historical camouflages: Desert Night Camo. The U.S. Army used Desert Night Camo (DNC) during the Gulf War. It was designed to help hide soldiers from enemy night vision devices by creating stripes and spots that broke up the wearer's profile. With the evolution of night vision technology, DNC was gradually abandoned. 6-color Desert. The 6-color Desert, commonly nicknamed "chocolate chip," is a classic camouflage pattern developed by the U.S. Army for desert operations. Introduced in the early 1980s, this camouflage was very successful during the Gulf War. The pattern features a light sand-colored background with large light green and brown shapes, as well as characteristic black and white spots that mimic rocks and their shadows, hence the name "chocolate chip." Both camouflages are no longer in service, but they continue to attract attention thanks to their unique appearance.
