Quick-release side panels to connect the front and back of the plate carrier. The Guardian Cummerbund Quick Release is a set of side panels for the tactical vest that secure the front and back. In addition to the side panels, the set includes an additional strap with a buckle that attaches to one of the shoulder straps. Both the cummerbund and the shoulder straps are equipped with quick-release buckles with non-slip grips, which allow for quick release and removal of the vest in case of emergency. This set also makes wearing the vest more comfortable, eliminating the need to unfasten the front flap every time. The cummerbund is made primarily of a structural mesh that provides additional ventilation, even with mounted equipment. The surface of the cummerbund features a MOLLE/PALS compatible modular system. Under the modular system straps is a skeletal panel made of Hypalon material, which stabilizes the carried equipment and provides adequate rigidity to the side panel itself.
