MATILDA Backpack® – Nylon – Coyote

Matilda is a bushcraft backpack designed for multi-day field trips. Its heavy-duty construction withstands frequent packing, gear transport, and contact with the ground. It is made of 500D Cordura®, which increases resistance to abrasion and damage. The material is coated with a DWR treatment that limits absorption and facilitates cleaning. YKK® zippers and Woojin components ensure reliable operation even under heavy loads and at varying temperatures. The comfortable carrying system stabilizes the load. The backpack is equipped with adjustable, contoured, quick-release shoulder straps that comfortably adapt to the body's shape. The waist belt transfers part of the weight to the hips, while the chest strap stabilizes the backpack while walking. The back panel, made of foam covered with spacer mesh, improves ventilation and increases comfort during prolonged transport. The interior of the backpack allows for flexible gear organization. The large main compartment can hold the necessary gear for a multi-day trip. The mesh pocket under the flap allows you to store small items. Internal MOLLE/PALS webbing: allows you to organize the inside of the backpack by attaching additional pouches, organizers, or a first aid kit. Space for a hydration bladder: a dedicated pocket allows you to use a hydration system during hikes. Pockets and straps facilitate the transport of bushcraft gear. Three large external pockets: closed with buckles and equipped with drawstrings and pass-through slots, they allow you to carry tools such as an axe. Pocket on the backpack flap: the zippered pocket is ideal for storing small items. External MOLLE/PALS webbing: allows you to expand the backpack with additional pouches, modules, or a first aid kit. Straps for attaching gear: allow you to attach a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, or other equipment. The design of the Matilda backpack is inspired by the ALICE (All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment) system, introduced by the US Army in the 1970s. Matilda has inherited the characteristic pocket layout and modularity of this system, but has been made lighter and adapted for bushcraft and civilian use. The result is a backpack that combines classic solutions with the functionality needed for modern hiking. The backpack is equipped with a Velcro panel for customization.
