THE TYPE C CNC RECEIVER (BODY) IS INSPIRED BY THE REAL AR15 (M4) FIREARM.
THIS CNC RECEIVER IS MADE FROM A SOLID BLOCK OF AIRCRAFT ALUMINUM EN AW 7075 T651, WHICH HAS BETTER STRENGTH (590 MPA) COMPARED TO COMMON STRUCTURAL STEEL (390 MPA).
THANKS TO THE MATERIAL USED, THIS RECEIVER HAS MUCH HIGHER DURABILITY COMPARED TO COMMON CAST ZINC-ALUMINUM ALLOY RECEIVERS.
PRODUCING ONE OF THESE CNC RECEIVERS REQUIRES A LOT OF TIME AND MATERIAL.
CNC RECEIVERS HAVE MUCH MORE MATERIAL ON EACH PART FOR BETTER STRENGTH AND RESILIENCE. THANKS TO THE EN AW 7075 T651 MATERIAL USED, OUR CNC RECEIVER IS VERY LIGHTWEIGHT AND RESISTANT TO BREAKAGE.
THANKS TO THE REINFORCED PARTS OF OUR RECEIVERS, THE UPPERS AND LOWERS FROM OTHER MANUFACTURERS ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE.
THE UPPER HAS A MIL-STD-1913 MILLED RIS RAIL.
IT IS POSSIBLE TO USE A CARRY HANDLE FROM AN ORIGINAL REPLICA, BUT WE RECOMMEND GETTING THE RETROARMS CARRY HANDLE.
THE SHELL DEFLECTOR AND FORWARD ASSIST PIN ARE MILLED TOGETHER WITH THE UPPER FROM A BLOCK OF ALUMINUM.
THE UPPER RECEIVER ALSO HAS A SPRING-MOUNTED DUST COVER, WHICH IS IN A NORMALLY CLOSED POSITION (INSTEAD OF NORMALLY OPEN), BUT CAN BE EASILY OPENED TO ACCESS THE HOP-UP CHAMBER.
THE HANDGUARD THREAD IS M31.5X1.5 AND THERE SHOULD BE NO PROBLEMS WITH THE INSTALLATION OF HANDGUARDS FROM OTHER MANUFACTURERS.
OUTER BARRELS CAN BE USED FROM RETROARMS, OR FROM ANY OTHER ORIGINAL REPLICA MANUFACTURED TO TOKYO MARUI STANDARD.
THE LOWER RECEIVER IS ALSO MILLED FROM A SOLID BLOCK OF AIRCRAFT ALUMINUM EN AW 7075 T651 AND IS SIGNIFICANTLY REINFORCED, FOR BETTER RESILIENCE AND PROTECTION AGAINST BREAKAGE.
WE RECOMMEND INSTALLING THE RETROARMS V2 GEARBOX IN THE LOWER RECEIVER.
WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT GEARBOXES PRODUCED BY OTHER MANUFACTURERS WILL WORK PROPERLY.
TO REMOVE “METALLIC” NOISES DURING FIRING, WE RECOMMEND INSTALLING THE INCLUDED RUBBER BUFFERS IN THE PRE-MILLED SLOTS, WHERE THEY SUPPORT THE GEARBOX AND METALLIC RESONANCE WILL BE REMOVED.
WE HAVE INCREASED THE SPACE IN THE LOWER RECEIVER FOR WIRING LEADING TO THE HANDGUARD.
LOWER AND UPPER RECEIVERS ARE CONNECTED BY SPECIAL WEDGE PINS, WHICH PUSH AGAINST EACH OTHER AND BOTH PARTS OF THE RECEIVER ARE PUSHED TOGETHER.
THIS REMOVES ALL PLAY IN THE RECEIVER AND ALSO ALL GAPS KNOWN FROM ALLOY CAST RECEIVERS.
THANKS TO ALL THIS AND ALSO TO THE HIGH QUALITY MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS, BOTH PARTS OF THE RECEIVER FIT PERFECTLY.
THE WEDGE PINS ARE FIXED WITH A SCREW, SO WITH MORE SCREWING, THERE IS MORE FORCE ON THE PINS.
THERE IS NO NEED TO USE BRUTE FORCE (MORE INFORMATION BELOW).
THE CENTER PIN IS ALSO SECURED BY A SCREW, SO IT WILL NOT FALL OUT.
THE STOCK IS INSTALLED ON A SPECIAL ADAPTER, WHICH CAN ACCEPT ANY STANDARD TM AR15 BUFFER TUBE.
THE ADAPTER CAN BE REPLACED WITH A QSC ADAPTER OR OUR CNC BUFFER TUBE WITH BAYONET MOUNT CAN BE INSTALLED.
ANY AR15 (M4) PISTOL GRIP CAN BE INSTALLED, IF MANUFACTURED ACCORDING TO TOKYO MARUI STANDARDS.
ALL RECEIVER ACCESSORIES SUCH AS END PLATE, FORWARD ASSIST PIN, MAGAZINE CATCH, BOLT CATCH, FIRE SELECTOR COVER, FIRE SELECTOR CAN BE REPLACED WITH ANY OTHER STANDARD PIECE FROM ORIGINAL REPLICAS, OR YOU CAN USE CNC ONES FROM RETROARMS OFFERING.
WE RECOMMEND INSTALLING THE RETROARMS CNC FIRE SELECTOR, BECAUSE IT HAS PRECISE SELECTION, SMOOTH MOVEMENT AND WORKS PERFECTLY IN ANY FIRE MODE.
THE USE OF THE RETROARMS END PLATE IS ALSO RECOMMENDED.
THIS CNC RECEIVER IS SANDBLASTED WITH SYNTHETIC CORUNDUM AND PROTECTED WITH HARD ANODIZING.
EN AW 7075 T651 MATERIAL IS VERY DIFFICULT TO ANODIZE DUE TO ITS HIGH STRENGTH AND HARDNESS; THE COMMON ANODIZING PROCESS IS NOT ABLE TO REACH DEEP ENOUGH INTO THE SURFACE.
IF WE DID NOT ANODIZE PRODUCTS MADE FROM THIS MATERIAL, THERE WOULD BE A HUGE RISK OF CORROSION (LARGE GRAY SPOTS WITH A ROTTEN APPEARANCE).
THANKS TO THE SANDBLASTING PROCESS THE SURFACE IS MATTE.
AFTER PURCHASE, WE RECOMMEND TREATING THE SURFACE WITH A LITTLE OIL ON A CLOTH.
THIS PROCESS WILL ALLOW THE SURFACE TO ABSORB SOME OF THE OIL AND WILL LEAVE A NICE DARK AND UNIFORM FINISH.

WHEN INSTALLING THE GEARBOX DO NOT USE BRUTE FORCE.
USE A MAXIMUM TIGHTENING TORQUE OF 1 NM ON THE SCREWS, OTHERWISE THE SCREWS CAN BE STRIPPED OUT. THERE IS NO NEED TO TIGHTEN THE SCREWS WITH BRUTE FORCE, IF YOU WANT TO BE SURE THAT THE SCREWS DO NOT LOOSEN, USE THREADLOCKER OR PAINT.
THE INSTALLATION OF THE CNC RECEIVER AND THE GEARBOX REQUIRES PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS.
THERE ARE MANY AIRSOFT MANUFACTURERS ON THE MARKET AND EACH OF THEM CREATES THEIR OWN DIMENSIONS, THERE ARE NO STANDARDS LIKE ISO ENGINEERING IN AIRSOFT.
THIS IS THE MAIN PROBLEM WITH MANY INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL PARTS FROM DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS WHICH MAY BE THE SAME PRODUCT, BUT WITH DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS.
WE RECOMMEND USING ONLY PARTS FROM MANUFACTURERS WITH PARTS COMPATIBLE WITH TOKYO MARUI.
RECOMMENDED RECEIVER ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE:
INSERT A GEARBOX INTO THE LOWER RECEIVER WITH GLUED RUBBER BUFFERS
INSTALL THE CENTER PIN
INSTALL THE PISTOL GRIP AND LIGHTLY TIGHTEN THE SCREWS (THEY WILL BE TIGHTENED LATER)
INSTALL THE UPPER RECEIVER AND USE THE HORIZONTAL ALIGNMENT MECHANISM TO ALIGN AND TIGHTEN THE GEARBOX
REMOVE THE UPPER RECEIVER AND TIGHTEN THE PISTOL GRIP
INSTALL THE REAR BODY PIN
INSTALL THE QSC INSERT INTO THE BUFFER TUBE MOUNT
ASSEMBLE THE REST OF THE REPLICA ACCORDING TO YOUR PREFERENCES
