This is the upgraded EDGE™ Gen.2 series from Specna Arms, focusing on superb full-metal construction with official Daniel Defense® trademarks. The Daniel Defense® MK18 RIII M-LOK 10.5″ (SA-E27 EDGE™ 2) replica features a completely redesigned reinforced gearbox called ÆTHER, capable of handling AEG springs up to M140. Inside you’ll find steel 16:1 ratio gears mounted on 8mm bearings, offering a perfect balance between rate of fire and durability. The reinforced polycarbonate piston with 14 teeth provides optimal AoE (Angle of Engagement) and prevents locking under load. Air is efficiently directed through a CNC aluminum nozzle seated on a reinforced tappet plate. The rifle is equipped with the advanced HAL² ETU electronic control unit using magnetic trigger sensors (Hall effect), providing functions such as active brake, binary trigger, trigger sensitivity adjustment, precocking, programmable fire modes and a low battery alarm. The latest version also allows configuration via the Specna Link™ mobile app for iOS and Android. Precision is ensured by a 6.03mm inner barrel combined with a Helium™ Flat-Hop bucking installed in the redesigned MAGNUS™ TDC chamber. The ESA™ quick spring change system lets you swap the main spring within a minute. The package also includes the Specna Arms EASY LiPo CHARGER set – an 11.1V Li-Pol 1000 mAh battery (fits in the buffer tube) and a reliable Li-Pol charger.

Important Note – First Use Activation

To fire the rifle, you must activate the HAL² ETU unit following this exact procedure – otherwise the rifle will not respond to the connected battery:

1. Set the fire selector to SAFE.
2. Connect the battery and wait 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
3. Hold the trigger for 5 seconds until another beep sounds.
4. The rifle is now ready to use.

Warnigs

• Some manufacturers’ springs are significantly overrated (e.g. M130 performs like M140–150), which may exceed gearbox durability. Use only Specna Arms springs.
• When replacing a spring with progressive winding, ensure the tighter coils are mounted on the spring guide side facing outward.
• Never store the rifle with a connected battery.
• Never store the rifle with the pre-cocking engaged. Always release the piston before storage.
