How to activate the rifle before use
Before you can fire the rifle, you must activate the HAL ETU unit by following the procedure below exactly. Otherwise, the rifle will not respond to the connected battery:
- Set the fire selector to Safe.
- Connect the battery and wait for 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
- Pull and hold the trigger for 5 seconds until you hear another beep.
- The rifle is now ready to use.
Important information
- The battery and charger are not included and must be purchased separately.
- Before first use, the HAL ETU™ unit must be calibrated (see above).
- Springs from some manufacturers are significantly overrated (for example, an M130 spring may correspond to the performance of an M140-150), which could exceed the declared durability limits of the gearbox. We recommend using the included Specna Arms springs only. When using springs from other manufacturers, we recommend choosing springs rated around M120 to reduce the risk of damage caused by a spring that does not correspond to its stated rating.
- When replacing a spring with progressive (non-uniform) winding, make sure that the end with the more tightly spaced coils is positioned on the spring guide, facing outwards from the gearbox.
- Never store the rifle with the battery connected.
- Never store the rifle with pre-cocking enabled. Before storage, always release the piston to its forward position to prevent unnecessary long-term compression and wear of the spring.
