The StatTrak™ Hit Counter is designed for players who want to monitor their performance during and after every game. It tracks hits, respawns, and lifetime statistics, allowing you to compare your results with teammates while saving your progress. The CNC-machined aluminum housing and durable protective glass withstand regular airsoft BB impacts. The device is weather-resistant, making it suitable for year-round outdoor use. Instructions
1. Power Options
The device can be powered from an AEG battery (7.4V / 11.1V), a standalone Li-Pol battery, a power bank, or any other 3–13V power source. Basic connection cables are included.
2. Connecting to an AEG (M4)
Choose the mounting location for both the battery and the device, shortening the cables if necessary. Route the cables neatly along the rifle, create any required openings, solder the wires together, or connect them using the supplied heat-shrink solder connectors. Once connected, we recommend enabling battery protection in the device settings.
3. Operation & Settings
StatTrak™ allows you to switch between the current match and lifetime statistics, count respawns, and display your K/D ratio. All settings are configured directly through the on-device menu. A full walkthrough is available in the video above.
4. Powering from a PEQ Box
The device can also be powered from a modified PEQ battery box (for example using an RCR123 cell). The exact modification depends on the PEQ box model and wiring and requires advanced soldering skills.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Do I need soldering skills to install it?
Not necessarily. The package includes heat-shrink solder connectors that only need to be heated. A traditional soldering iron isn’t required, although simply twisting the wires together is less secure than soldering.
Does it count hits automatically while shooting?
No. Hits are counted manually. It’s a stylish performance tracker rather than an electronic hit sensor.
Is the counter waterproof?
The manufacturer rates it as resistant to rain, moisture, and dust, making it suitable for normal airsoft use. If you plan to swim across a lake, we recommend keeping your entire rifle above the water—especially if it’s an AEG.
Can the display survive a direct BB hit?
The unit is designed for airsoft, and the protective glass withstands normal BB impacts without issues. However, extremely close-range shots always carry some risk, so intentionally testing its limits is not recommended.
