Windrunner Pants – Windpack® Nylon – Shadow Grey

Windrunner pants are an ultralight outer layer designed to protect against the wind. Windpack nylon protects against the wind. Lightweight, quick-drying fabric that shields against the wind chill effect. Consequently, it improves comfort, for example, during breaks or when the intensity of movement is lower. Compact structure that even fits in a cargo pocket. Thanks to their low weight and compact dimensions, the pants can be folded into their own pocket. It is a self-packing system: the pocket turns inside out and becomes a pouch. Folded this way, the pants easily fit into a backpack, fanny pack, or even a cargo pocket. An additional layer to be worn quickly over regular pants. We designed the Windrunner pants as an emergency layer to be worn over standard pants. They feature pass-through openings that allow access to the pockets of the pants worn underneath. The waistband is adjustable with an elastic cord, which allows you to adapt the fit to your body shape and other layers. The legs with two-way zippers make it easy to put on the pants without taking off your shoes. The outer layer is protected by a hydrophobic coating that increases resistance to dirt and moisture penetration. Consequently, the product is easier to care for and maintains its properties longer, even with intensive use. Windrunner pants are a lightweight solution for situations where weather conditions change rapidly. Zippered legs: The double sliders that run the full length of the legs speed up putting on and taking off the pants, while improving ventilation during movement. Lower leg adjustment: Velcro straps on the hem stabilize the zippers and allow you to adjust the width of the leg. Active ventilation: A mesh panel in the back improves ventilation and comfort during intense exertion. Knee reinforcements: Increase durability in an area subject to high wear during movement. Windrunners are compact emergency pants to be used as an additional protective layer against the wind. They work well as a lightweight, packable windproof layer to be worn when conditions start to worsen. Paired with Windrunner or Tramontane jackets, they form a coordinated set that protects against wind and light precipitation without excessive bulk. Functional details: Loops inside the pockets allow you to secure small accessories, while paracord loops allow you to attach suspenders. Adjustable waistband: an elastic cord with two cord locks ensures quick adjustment based on body shape, even when worn over other pants. Pass-through pockets: allow access to the pockets of the pants worn underneath. Cargo pockets: offer secure space for storing small items.
